AppImage [[Computer Program]]s don't really get installed. All they do is get made into an executable. This is attractive because traditional [[Linux]] [[Computer Program]]s install their files on multiple places and download dependencies. An AppImage is self-contained and have no extraction either. This compares to `.exe` [[Computer Program]]s on Windows.
